How To Get Better Results At The Gym

We all want results when we go to the gym... it is why we go :)

But what if you are slogging away and the results you want are just not happening

Becomes a tiresome slog that really... you just can't be bothered to do (especially as people seem to get more results than you)

Well in this short read we are going to share with you how to get better results at the gym and most importantly... keep getting them

These are 4 simple steps you can use to get success at the gym

Step 1: Record Your Workouts

The only way to know how you are really doing is to keep track of your workouts and monitor your progress

Yes, you can feel fitter over time

But when you have been training for a while some changes are just not as noticeable as they were at the start and so become less obvious

By keeping a log of your workouts in your phone, APP or excel 

You are able to track your progress

This also lets you see where you are developing the most and which exercises you seem to respond to better

Step 2: The Environment Is Important

If you are training somewhere where you don't feel 100% confident and comfortable this will have a huge impact on your results

You will never really push yourself in to something because you will feel insecure about the training atmosphere and environment

This is one of the main reason at Gym Reb3l why we run small (maximum of 6) female only group workouts

This allows our members to train with less people, in an environment they are comfortable with and also with such a small group... it is easy to get to know each other

You need to feel confident to grab the equipment you want and do whichever exercise you need to do to get the results you want

Step 3: Lose Any Distractions

I can't tell you how annoying it is in commercial gyms, waiting for equipment while someone is sat on their phone checking Instagram or posing for numerous photos in front of the mirror hoping to get the best shot

If you have your phone with you for music... use it just for that

If you are using it for tracking your workouts too... use it just for that

In order for you to be at your most productive you can't have any distractions when you train and remind yourself you are there to improve yourself and give yourself the focus and attention you need to make this happen

Step 4: Find A Community
